He grinned lightly at othat, nodding a bit. "Older brothers are good, bet they are protective." He tipped his head, honestly interested in her and finding out more. "Just brothers than or do you have any sisters?" He questioned, his head cocked to the side as he gazed at her, barely touching his food. That was definitely something unusual for him, he was generally worse than Luke about inhaling his food. She seemed alright with the fact that her parents were divorced and really, most kids these days were pretty well adjusted about things like that. He picked at his potatoe salad before he looked over as if to check on Chelle and Luke for just a brief moment. Satisfied that they were fine, he turned his eyes back to her and smiled again. "You do a lot of this...volunteer stuff?" He said the word volunteer as if it was something completely foreign and strange to him which, well it was. Him and Luke spent their free time lounging around Luke's house playing video games and going swimming and things of that nature, definitely not volunteering and running around being do-gooders. Though, it was nice to see that she cared about people other than herself unlike most of the girls he knew.
