She tsk'd gently at him and watched for a moment to make sure that he was in fact going to finish at least some of his food. "Hurry up and eat, boy. We have trees to plant. You think we're here to socialize?" Her tone was gently, playfully scolding and then she was about to respond to his question when his comment set her back a little. A small smile touched her lips and she shook her head a little bit, uncaring that a light flush darkened her cheeks - she was fair-skinned and blushed easily and had long ago given up on being embarrassed by the display of bashful appreciation. "Thanks." She shrugged and pursed her lips gently, popping a chip off of his plate between her lips and then leaning back on her hands, stretching her legs out in front of her and crossing them at her ankles. "I'm not sure yet... I'll go to university for sure. Maybe social work or counseling - something like that. Maybe law. I've still got some time to figure it out. What about you?" He seemed like a smart guy - she didn't really see him as the type to be planning to work in the trades or middle management or anything like that.
