- Brent Stait left due to [they say] an allergy with the prosthetic glue. I've heard from sources that he was fired for wanting more of an active role *shrug* who can say...
- KHC left because he didn't like the chainmail, the costumes, the boneblades, the being told how to be Tyr, the direction of the show and went back to that higher form of TV - Soap Operas.
- Bob "Twin Peaks" Engels and his mystery speeches that make no sense. Writers who don't know their characters...
- Throwing out the Magog/Spirit of the Abyss arc, the Commonwealth, any form of consistency [making the characters looks like they don't know what they're saying]
- The Bonsai, which was a metaphor for Trance's visions of alternate realities, became real. They made a shuttlecraft out of the Maru. They brought in well known Guest stars and made them look ridiculous [see season Three/Four] Peter Wingfield, Nia Peeples, Sebastian Spence, Jim Byrnes, to name a few
- The Nietzscheans are gone. They had a war at the end of Season Three wiping out Sintii, Moebius [getting rid of the Perseids] Most aliens have been replaced by Humans, including apparently, Vedrans. They brought in the Tri-umvirs [who didn't last a season]
Anything else? I can't really list everything that's gone wrong, but there have been a few eps I've really liked from last season "Abridging the Devil's Divide" "A Symmetry Of Imperfection" Matt's Alt Universe ep "The Warmth Of An Invisible Light"
We'll have to see about Season Five... I've only had three eps so far - now that Canada's been cut off [save for Superstation airings a week after the Sci Fi Channel]
Watch for the return of Ash & Zack, their ep "Decay of the Angel" airs for us non-Sci Fi Channel viewers this weekend!
