Since Mutant_Seth (one of the powers that be on the show) hangs out at the board, he'll most likely answer the question sooner or later there.

As for there being any truth to the rumor - I figure that's a YES. Seth has already said they are looking for a new male character who may or may not become a regular. Since Seth also said casting started this week for the new character (in a earlier thread), I figure the rumor has to do with people in L.A. getting casting sheets (short summaries of characters that shows are trying to cast for, that are sent to casting agencies) for the part and then posting the info to the Internet (because what is posted in that URL sounds like what shows up on a casting sheet, IMO).

That said, I wouldn't be surprised that the final character has nothing to do with the outline now floating around. I've heard of more than one show who put casting sheets out and then ended up with a totally different person cast into the part, than what they were originally looking for in the casting sheet :-).
