Don't get me wrong, I love Ash & Zack, they are really great guys - sweethearts both, but I've noticed that the Fans have become too fanatic about them. They started out being regular guys, and that's all they wanted was to be treated like 'regular' guys, but now it's like they've gotten this cult following. You're right - to a lot of people they can do no wrong. I used to love chatting with the guys about the episodes, regular stuff, until I began to notice the worship coming out, it was really hard to watch. To me, Zack, Ash, Matt, Joe, Robert, Bob and Ethlie are just people, doing a job like anyone else. Of course they happen to have the BEST freaking job in the world LOL but it's still a job - they're still human with real world issues to deal with. Putting them on a pedestal doesn't help. I have a really bad feeling that we'll be seeing a turnover in writing staff next season, either Matt & Joe will move on to something where they're more appreciated, or Ash & Zack will leave for something bigger and better... and I hate to think of it. It was bad enough losing Robert and Ethlie *sigh*

I'm really not sure why Eclipse's forum hasn't taken off. I guess perhaps too much of SS is there, and people are still afraid to voice their opinions. Here we're just a few, a small group of optimists, like you said - we don't hate Kevin and we do like all the characters. We find something to enjoy in each episode and would rather talk about the positive for the most part, than the negative. Or just talk about what we think might be in 'the big picture' so to speak, because I still see one!
I think mainly, this forum hasn't been discovered by the nay-sayers - either that or they're leaving us alone. Which is in some ways a relief.
