Based on last year's shooting schedule, I don't think they managed to get Mr. Hurst to return to Andromeda. Sigh. He should be booked doing "Rocky Horror" (in either a kilt or fishnet stockings and a red codpiece!!! no less) through November. I think Andromeda finishes shooting in mid-December. Sigh.

Oh, well. I suppose the man does feel some obligation to his favorite theater company and the late Mr. Smith and all that but. . .sigh. (Being funny here. I actually feel his obligation to the Auckland theater and Mr. Smith come FIRST.)

So. . .I guess we'll all just have to imagine the future adventures of Capt. Rion of the Wrath of Achilles. Hmm. I actually started a story with him acquiring a first officer from the "Iolausian Alliance," who convinces him eyebrows and more natural hair will allow his meatware crew to accept him. Never went anywhere but I can picture it. Heheheheh.

So, let's keep our fingers crossed for next season. Sigh. Another Hurst-less year. And I missed my favorite Iolaus death at the hands of the Fire Enforcer rerun on SciFi this week because of a boring conference I didn't want to go to and plane problems. (Travel hint: When they open the cowling on the engine of the plane you are supposed to fly out on and start staring into it, that is NOT a good sign.)
