As I recall, they original plan was for Dylan and Beka to have a "will they or won't they" Sam and Diane sort of thing and Kevin Sorbo didn't care for that. Which is fine with me. I find that "we're antagonists because we are really attracted to each other" to be a cliche. And this is not a show about romance.

I like the sexual tension between Tyr and Beka and I might even be willing to allow them some off-camera action, I prefer keeping it at the level of tension. Once you form a relationship, you have to waste time exploring that (and after 25 years of marriage, I've seen enough 'relationship' in real life to last me), worrying about makin babies. . .have those "oh, does he really love me" and people misunderstanding each other stuff. . . Bleah.

Yah to sexual tension. Nay to turning the show into an exploration of the relationship between Tyr and Beka or anybody and anybody.
