Another thing was the whole bone spurs hysterics. I never really believed they were attached to anybody anyhow. I mean, first thing you do when you leap out of bed, if you're a Nietzschean, is fiddle around fitting some sort of bracelet around those darn pointy bone things. Yeah, right.

It was a great concept. An obvious way to separate the ubers from the kludges and better than cat's eye contact lenses, as were also proposed, but they never looked REAL on anybody! I know someone, a casual watcher, who had no idea they were supposed to be attached to Tyr. She just figured they were decorative vambraces.

Think about it. The bones in the lower arm rotate very freely. Twist your wrist a few times and try to imagine bones sticking out. Doesn't work. Plus snagging them on things. And are babies born with them? Ouch.

So. . .great paper concept. Not so great execution. Won't be missed in my book but I define a character more by behavior than outward appearance, the way I do real people.
