It those monies were put into universal health care along with the monies now going for the poor for medicare and there was a cap on pmt such as medicare has perhaps in the long run with more preventative medicine being practiced with all having health care the cost would not be prohibitive . As far as 15 percent sales tax I am sure they would excempt food etc from the tax so the poor would not be hit as hard as you think as the taxes would be shouldered by those who are able to spend a lot more than the poor are. what is interesting you are against this care seemingly because you are setting yourself up as the judge on who is worthy and who is not in your estimation .
