Is in it a city locale or more desert like. The fact that it's made in a Yucca plant, narrows the list of suspects. The use of sticks is also a clue. Mockingbirds, threshers and wrens could fit these categorize. When you say it's a "small" nest, small like a chickadee and could fit in one hand or larger like a robin that would fill perhaps two hands. Some more observations would be helpful.
