Having lapsed into a swirling mass of depression, thick and suffocating, she darts quickly to the end of the creek, staring into the crystalline blue waters, watching as it washed over the pebbles and crept over small protrusions. Tentatively, she poised a slender leg over the surface of the water and flicked at it, ignoring the frigidity of the liduid and watching in simple fascination as droplets were flung in all directions. Summonning up courage and bravery, she plundged into the chest-high water, startled by the icy daggers stinging so harshly it was like immense heat riding up through her legs where it was covered.

A few fractions of a second was all it took for her to begin to revel in this...numbing sensation and eagerly she twisted and turned in the water, rearing and bucking and water flying all across her back and sloshing down her back like being enveloped in a bitter glacier. Like fistfuls of slush being smeared along the length of her flank and dulling her sense of touch. Masochist, she thought to herself, I suppose I should do this more often, came the next thought. Indulging in a small smile and delightedly jumped as much as the water would allow, the density holding her back but it was like all her troubles were fading...going...going...gone.
