I have purchased a Sherlog ultrasound system to be usedfor Airborne Ultrasonic inspections.
This can be done in conjunction with your survey, allowing you to submit the report under your headings, giving you the ability to offer ultrasound as either part of your services or independently. I do this because I really want to pay for this thing fast! It was un-Godly expensive.
The SDT Sherlog is type approved (Lloydfs Register, ABS and Hellinic Register), and proven efficient and reliable as a testing system for verification of marine, offshore and industrial weathertightness. This equipment can also be used to test bulkheads or any openings on board which need to be sealed, such as refrigerated provisions stores and machinery spaces. It can be used efficiently to test and monitor the tightness of hatch covers, RoRo, barges, equipment such as bow doors, stern doors, visor doors, side doors, inner doors as well as ramps and many other shipboard areas.
If you are interested please contact me.
