Subject: Taking the train from Heathrow to Glasgow

Do you need to buy ahead? Do you have to change trains outside the airport, or do you just get on at the terminal and get off at Glasgow? Advice from those who have done this welcome.

Haven’t done it myself but you’d need to get a train into London Euston, then a train from Euston to Glasgow. You’d need to buy in advance to guarantee a seat (NT) -- .., 12:08:40 03/20/24 Wed

In answer to your first question I’d say a resounding nay! It’s an awfully long trek and I would estimate it adding at least half a day travelling time both ways. Would you consider a connecting flight from Heathrow to Glasgow instead? (More inside) -- B, 11:24:04 03/21/24 Thu
