No data but can tell you I had serious hip issues requiring surgery in my early 30s for torn cartilage and bone damage. Danced for about 15-18 years. But back in the day we danced on concrete floors and knew very little about preventing injuries, unfortunately.

  • I danced for 20 years and finally had to retire when I developed permanent nerve damage in the ball of my foot—excruciating until I had surgery! Will be with me for the rest of my life. Sad to stop but now that the pain is being managed I have no (NT) -- Regrets, 08:13:19 03/31/24 Sun
