Subject: no one is "forcing you" to do anything. It was very clear that the policy in place allowed this dancer to enter that competition. If it bothered you that much,....

YOu could choose not to attend.

You chose to attend, knowing full well that this dancer was in your competition, and now, you are all up in arms.

This is not death and taxes... you do NOT HAVE to go to Irish Dance World championships. It's your right to protest by not attending. PUt your money where your mouth is, and tell YOUR child she can't go, if that is how you feel.

But you didn't do that. So...why don't you move on and live your life, and let others do the same, cuz you aren't going to change the past by belly aching on a message board.
