If CLRG no longer exists the event can still take place. The result of the vote is June 15 I think so too late to cancel. The event can operate and follow the spirit of the CLRG rules. Anyone saying it was billed as a qualifier or it was false advertising can stay home but don’t expect a refund because at the time you registered it was in fact a qualifier. I am sure the judges will still show up since they want to be paid. It would be great if the NAIDC committee or IDTANA made a statement but I am not expecting one unless it is in fact a no vote and at that point a statement that it is going forward

Exactly that. The only feises directly run by CLRG are the All Ire and Worlds. Every single other feis can run without them, either as an independent competition or under another org. (NT) -- ., 02:51:19 05/29/24 Wed

Would the syllabus need to be reworded to omit all references to CLRG & also to update rules which quote clrg. If clrg cease to exist surely their rules are null & void too. Who do clrg registered adjs register with to judge? Clrg is the governing body. (NT) -- Mom, 02:55:09 05/29/24 Wed
- No not really, just stick a line on there to say it's no longer associated with CLRG. They can use whatever rules they like then - if that means using the same rules as CLRG previously used then sobeit.
