Everyone on these boards said after the scandal broke in October 2022 that they were quitting after regionals since they had already paid for it and made travel arrangements. That made sense since everyone was already booked and had paid.

Those same people who said they were quitting then said they were sticking around for the 2023 worlds since their child qualified but would quit right after.

Then once again, they stuck it out for the 2023-2024 competitive season using the justification that changes were being made, new people had been elected to the CLRG board, and disciplinary hearings were being caried out.

Now we have the suspension of the hearings and elimination of sanctions and punishments and yet again, people are saying they are going to stick it out for the 2024 NAIDC since they already paid and made travel arrangements but will surely quit after.

It should be obvious at this point that the cheating scandal is not impacting entries at majors. The mass exoduses we've been told will happen after every major have not happened in any measurable way. Whether people are not truly dropping out or new dancers are filling the spaces of those who have dropped out, on a numbers basis, there's no decline in sight.
