I don’t care that she’s a professional ballerina because that’s not against the rules, I guess. But she evidently came back about 6 months ago, and AA is all any adults have been thinking about for the last year or so—so there’s no way she and the teacher didn’t know. She should have been in AA and frankly would probably have done pretty well in it.

It sucks because others in that competition follow the rules and if this is true (which the evidence indicates it is), then some dancers got cheated out of the placements they deserved.

Never thought I’d see cheating in adults. But here we are.
