• Maybe put a post up on your community Facebook pages asking if schools, pre-schools, special schools etc might like them. They can be re-purposed, especially nice cups etc ones that aren't dance specific could be used for sporting days, general awards etc. (NT) -- hth, 16:08:06 07/06/24 Sat

• I donated some back to the original feiseanna. In the case of comps I had regularly attended, I had quite a few! The same medal centre was still in use, and no years on them so easy for them to reuse. Random ones or generic centres went back to my own school to add new centres and use for our own feis.   • For many young adults who retire and are out of the Irish Dance world, no, trophies from childhood aren't what they want to decorate their adult homes with. Its the videos, pics and friendships that they hold on to. Mine kept the crystal, we took pics of everything, then donated the lot. -- no room, 09:27:18 07/14/24 Sun
