Subject: Happened to my dancer twice
In reply to: Mom 's message, "Bald Spot" on 18:32:21 09/15/24 Sun

My dancer had this happen twice. It's now grown back. Make sure to do scalp massage with one of those hand held rubbery scalp massagers for shampoo, it helps stimulate hair growth, and give her head a good 6 month with NO WIGS. My dancer has since retired but those stupid wigs were always the absolute worst part of the whole thing. And don't let her teachers give you flack. Her health needs to be number one!!

  • Depends on technique. Never had issues with any of my DDs (NT) -- Over 15 years, 14:17:20 09/16/24 Mon
  • Some kids have more sensitive scalps than others. I was always gentle with my dancer, but others weren't and it was frustrating. (NT) -- Mumma, 16:12:29 09/16/24 Mon
