Maybe it’s the age group you look at but the years my daughter has gone it has been highly competitive and sometimes harder than Worlds. Numbers are decent attending at most only 50 recall not matter how many are there. Sure there are some lower level dancers but mainly I’ve seen a lot of WMH, WQ taking the recalls. Yes they get a higher percentage of qualifiers for Worlds awarded and anyone can go and qualify. The people that put this down tend to be the ones that feel it unfair that it’s oversees but hey it’s Irish dance so I’m expecting/hoping to go to Ireland.
