Subject: I mean I kind of agree with you, not the language, but CLRG isn't going to change. So if you don't like that fact that CLRG supports and refuses to do anything about cheating, you need to leave.

I moved to an open platform school in another organization. I asked myself what was more important to me, to be part of an elite organization that ignores about 95 percent of the dancers in it, and breeds a "get to the top no matter what it takes" mentality or do I want to learn and compete Irish dance because it it a fun hobby. I choose the latter. I thought I would have some regrets, but they only one is I don't have a competition to go to every three weeks. My social calendar has gotten much better.
The cheating going on? It is one of the worst kept secrets in Irish dance. It popped up from time to time since I have been involved in the 90s and CLRG has always just turn a blind eye. This time it was text messages, the time before was notes under doors and before that it was over hearing conversations. Everyone knew it, no one talked about it. Of course back then, it required a lot less money and time to be part of Irish dance.

Anyway, the point is this kind of cheating has been going on forever. Does that make it right? Absolutely not. But if you are waiting for CLRG to do something about it, you are going to be waiting forever. They won't. So if it really bothers you, leave.
