Mid-America Girls u17 or U18 I can’t remember.
10 Mid-America girls made it through both recall rounds. That’s 10/60 from set round.
Now tell me that’s not out of whack!!! With about 200 in their Oireachtas that year/s Covid… 10 made it all the way through. We have so many that are equally as good but due to numbers didn’t WQ. Of those, one was a globe and a few medals. That’s insane when you break down how many make it through set round from each region in a comp.
The level of competition in Mid-America is insane. The numbers are too big. The USA regions need to be redrawn.

Western region was done with sets yesterday at 3:15. MidAmerica at 3:15 might be starting sets at 3:15 next weekend.

Recall less in each split at NAIDC- then combine the top 10-15 from each comp to dance again to get one national champion.

Or have two categories at NAIDC- must have qualified at your Oireachtas in one group that awards the national champion. And everyone else in the other competition which awards a smaller prize.

There are creative ways to go about making changes.
