Subject: This is good advice. But think it through.
In reply to: Mom 's message, "Are you looking for the time of year or how do you know when you need to leave your old school and move on?" on 19:51:42 01/05/25 Sun

Dancer at our school left 2 years ago after two years of the mom doing nothing but complain about how school was run. Mom finally moved daughter, and I honestly think it was a good move for many reasons. For the first year, all mom did was rave about new school and how much better it was. After the first year. She started to realize there were a lot of good things at the old school that she recognized were better.

No school is perfect. Identify what you like and don’t like about current school and what you are going to like and not like about new school. If you can’t identify a single thing you aren’t going to like about the new school, you haven’t done enough research/reflection.

Also, try to get the inside scoop on the cult, especially in your dancers age group. If there is a mean girl in her age group at the school, that will be the thing you aren’t going to like about the school and that is a pretty hard thing to deal with.
