Subject: Thought US contracts were done years in advance? Then there will be a block too.

I had understood for NAIDC they had to sign contracts well ahead of time and noon they are scrambling for next year? Surely there had been a contract somewhere for 2026, what happened to Belfast? Is this CLRG or is IDTANA trying to pull it off now and nobody’s said yet in hopes we don’t catch on to CLRG failing? Surely not everyone goes to Worlds but I’d venture less TCs will pay dues and fewer families will stay in Irish dance if they know there is no Worlds (and AI) after this year. Should be a time for full transparency and CLRG is not saying anything. Not a fan of Worlds run in North America we already have NAIDC. While there is no AC option where we are overseas there are many branches that schools could move to and other orgs that have their own worlds (Cheating is there too) Wonder what kind of hotel rate we will be stuck with for the block if this takes place.
