Do you really think that Glasgow and Dublin are larger? Or have infrastructure to handle this? I've been to the locations of Worlds in both Dublin, Glasgow, Belfast, and also MidAmerica Oireachtas in Schaumburg. I applaud the committee for selecting an area with hotels aplenty, that aren't $400/night and cramped, and also the proximity to the airport and transportation.

You just sound so salty. Just be happy there's no requirement to stay at a venue hotel. You can get some really cute AirBNBs in the area that are all a 10 minute drive. As opposed to the 25 minute commute we had in Montreal or the impossible task of Glasgow last year and the horrid venue they chose.
