Subject: This must be the very first time you've ever seen Riverdance. Riverdance has ALWAYS incorporated singing and other dance styles since the very beginning. Michale Flatley had a flute solo in the 1995 version so the lead having their own musical solo is a nod to that.
In reply to: Dancer 101 's message, "Riverdance" on 09:21:22 02/09/25 Sun

Complaining at the tap track or quality of the dancing is fair game but complaining at tap or singing being part of Riverdance is ridiculous. You're either exceedingly dim or trying to stir the pot.

  • Don't think Riverdance hides what it's about- it's designed to appeal to Irish diaspora and has ALWAYS had different styles and singing. (NT) -- Not the only show out there, 08:25:21 02/11/25 Tue
