The point of the bans are to stop kids from jumping between schools if their teachers are judging majors etc. Military kiddos move every 2-3 years. My kiddo is 10 and at her 3rd dance school weve moved across country 3 times. Its enough on the kids to pick up and move schools and dance schools, learn new material and adapt. Let them keep one constant thing for them. Its near impossible to move up if you keep getting a ban. My kiddo got an exemption from the ban but still didnt feis for about 4 months as she needed to learn steps. She was prizewinner at the time not a WQ and had never been to a major.
