Subject: Looking for light/soft shoe recommendation

Hoping someone can help me out - I find when I'm wearing soft shoes they're often too tight and sort of 'compress' my toes and the ball of my foot so I end up having less balance and injure myself. I'm hoping to find a shoe that has a wider 'toe box' so to speak, that allows all of my toes to be flat on the floor when I dance, the same way they would be if I were wearing socks.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
