Subject: Audit just started this week. The Board needs to figure out the best way to publish results. I trust the Board to do the right thing, but doing the right thing includes doing it in the right way. If an O champ isn't the champ, he or she shouldn't learn that from social media.

My guess is that there are major errors in most competitions. I wouldn't want to be the person who has to decide how they are going to tell us all that.

Probably the best way would be to notify the teachers of affected dancers under strict confidentiality rules and give them 48 hours to notify their dancers. The Board really has no way of contacting dancers directly.

But, I commend the Mid-America Region for doing an audit and I hope they take this opporturtunity to set the standard for how situations like this should be handled in a way that is tranparent and honest.
