Subject: Right. That is not the case, you are exaggerating, what you portray sounds like either Canada or the UK. You could get a PCP to refer you at any time, many times with even a Telehealth meeting with the PCP. Not buying it, seems like you are the entitled one

Many PCP look for new patients, yes, they want to have a longer visit with you, and you would need to allow time from work for that. The year wait as a "new" patient? Sorry, that's on you, not the physician.

(btw, also relocated twice in 18 months due to employment. Took 6 weeks for initial appointment for first move, 4 weeks for appointment with second. All referrals for new allergists, dermatologists, and orthopedists went through within days and appointments made fairly quickly. Longest wait for a specialist was about 3 weeks out)
