I think only your teachers can answer that question. There could be legitimate reasons (some schools engage in sketchy things at their feiseanna and your TC may be doing you a favor by not letting you waste your money).

If you think the reasons are petty, you might want to “vote with your feet.” You aren’t required to stay at that school. It isn’t like the pettiness is going to be limited to just feis attendance.
