One use of logic can be found in the presentation of the Word to those who do not know God. Since they function through human reasoning and logic, it is important for the evangelist to be familiar with those reasonings in order to deliver God's word in such a way that it can be understood.
In parables Jesus spoke in terms where human reasoning was highly familiar (e.g. sowing and reaping, light, salt, etc.) Human reasoning can understand the elements but it limits the application to the individual to mere temporal alterations. When Jesus said he spoke in parables so that those who hear would not perceive, he broaches this subject.
Human reasoning and physical elements can be useful in presenting God's word in an understandable form.
Now, is there a one way relationship in which God's widsom can be placed into human terms but man's wisdom cannot be shown in God's? Since God's foolishness is greater than man's wisdom, can man discover God through his own reasoning?
