Hi Daniel,

Thanks for visiting here. I would like to say that even if you are not attending ubf, you should keep up your guard around these people. Just try not to have any interaction with them. They don't anything about what is going on in the world, so you cnnot discuss current events. You cannot discuss news, sports, movies, video games, celebrities, what you did on the weekend, etc, etc, etc.

You also cannot dicuss religion with them because they don't know anything about any Christian ideas or teachings except from what they are force fed at ubf. After getting force fed, their goal is to prove that they are superior to you. in their standing before God. They are not centered around the grace of Jesus Christ, they are centered around their standing within the ubf and among the ubfins.

One of the things about cult people is that they try not to allow anyone to figure them out. Even if you sincerely want to befriend them, the natural response from cult people is to use your curiosity against you to suck you into the group.

If you go out for lunch with them, they will insist that you pray in public with them. If you talk with them too much, you will start to speak in broken Engrish like them. If you give them a chance to explain themselves, they will use it as an excuse to invite you to their meetings to find out for yourself. Then you opened up Pandora's box.

If you agree to start attending their meetings, you are not allowed to just go once and then forget about it (nobody has ever been allowed to ubf as a believer. ubf labels all who leave as some traitor towards God). They will share your name and everything you say with the ubfins around them. They will all get excited thinking they have a new recruit to add to their crown of glory (most of them never recruit anyone in their lifetime) You then become a sheep who needs to be made into a ubf shepherd. If you reject this ubf plan , then you reject God. If you try to explain to them that you have been a saved believer for many years, they will scoff at you.

I think alot of cults operate like this. The members do not want to interact with outsiders as just friends. In fact, they don't want to interact with outsiders at all except to find new recruits. They are trained to always search for the opportunity to convert an outsider to their group. They couldn't care less whether the person is saved or not, just convert to the group and get with the program.

Most cult people are not really equipped to do anything but recruit a new person. The cults usually spend all their efforts on recruiting; the how, the why, and what will happen if the member does not recruit.
