these people are a Korean Cult like the moonies.
This is a bit too much simplified. UBF plays in a different league of cults than the Moonies. Even Moon's official teachings are non-orthodox. Moon is much more cultish and several orders of magnitude larger.
Of course, UBF has some similarities with the Moonies, plus Moon is also Korean, obsessed with marriage etc. but you will find similar patterns in all cults.
It is a bit more difficult to identify UBF as a cult because superficially they sound very Bible-oriented, stressing Jesus so much etc. while the majority of cults is already officially built on unbiblical teachings or additions to the Bible. On the other side, this makes UBF even more dangerous. You believe to serve God and follow the Bible while you are following human leaders and their twisted interpretation and develop more and more fear of God and people, becoming more and more corrupt, deceptive, dependent, unnatural, conformist and immature instead of becoming a mature Christian personality.
