Here is Another Article in the Santiago Times. It's worth reading the article. The Colonia is still operating (under different name), the members claiming they have "changed completely." However, insiders say that the former structure is still functioning and old leaders are making the decisions. That rings a bell. Probably the Colonia members hold the same belief that because their former boss is away, they have automatically changed completely and do not need to work up the past. Probably they believe that those persons who "enabled" the monster Sch�fer don't need to be challenged. How can they leave anybody who cooperated with Sch�fer in a decision-making position? Probably they believe that 40years of indoctrination and dysfunction are wiped off immediately when the chief indoctrinator is gone. (Colonia Dignidad was founded in the year 1961, just as UBF. And, by the way, in the same year, Lifton wrote his influential book 'Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism: A study of "Brainwashing" in China.').
