And elder of the Church of Christ? Do you have the name of that elder?

The official author name is "Shepherd Andrew Joshua Martin". He even flaunts his UBF title of "Shepherd."

The subtitle is "From the orphanage, to a despaired teenage father, to a high school dropout, to a SERVANT OF GOD." The style is typical of a UBF "life testimony." Also typical are the lack of the mention of Christ and importance of Old Testament allusions ("crossing the Red Sea"). As is the case with typical UBF "life testimonies," the focus is probably on his efforts and the efforts of other UBF "servants of God" for which he is eternally thankful.

I'll probably try to get it through inter-library loan sometime. No need to waste money on it.

For a more realistic picture of the UBF chapter that Andrew Martin comes from and UBF in general, people should read the two archived discussions about Donna Adams here and here. Her survival story can also be read.
