Chris, regarding the history of Living Hope Fellowship I will have to defer to those who were much more actively involved with the leadership than I was. Jerry King, Don Borton, Dean Svoboda, etc., would be able to chronicle LHF history better than I would. I spent most of my time preparing my materials for and leading group Bible studies.
I will, as soon as possible, summarize my observations about UBF.
I also want to extend an invitation to anyone who wants to talk about the Bible, UBF, etc., to e-mail me directly if talking in a forum isn't comfortable. I'm not a psychologist, or a sociologist or anything like that. I am in fact a mechanical engineer. I've always wanted to know, as objectively as possible, how things work. Long ago I began studying the Bible for myself to find out what it says. I'll tell you, there's nothing more fascinating than knowing what God has done and is still doing today! I'd welcome the opportunity to help anyone to know God better.
