You know what? You guys might be right. I remember Lee's long announcements from the 2001 conference and that he said some pretty bizarre things. But the "I will kill you" quote was not said in 2001. Actually, Andy told me ABOUT this quote at the 2001 conference, as we *discussed* Lee and his long announcements ..Andy had heard it in 1999.. and I misremembered that I had heard Lee say it myself. My reaction to it was as reported, though - I thought he was just being colourful and impassioned. So, Lee did say this; I just did not hear him say it. At the conference in 2001 I heard about the time when he had said it.

This shows the fallibility of the human memory. I made a mistake on this one. I tried to make my testimony as accurate as possible, using my journals and old UBF testimonies as sources. I will amend my testimony to fix the mistake. My old journal entries speak for themselves, however!
Thanks for helping me remember this properly.
