Subject: Repentance = death!
In reply to: Chris 's message, "Re: Off with their heads!" on 17:33:07 04/15/05 Fri

Seems these people don't even consider the idea of repentance.

This is a typical hallmark that I have encountered in other abusive Christian groups as well, repentance is not only to "lose face" for these people, but it seems a totally impalatable option of not being able to go on as always before.

It seems that these kind of people consider a call for repentance as a personal attack, when they continually charge people to repent over much less grievous matters (i.e. UBFDirector calls people to repent over writing only 27 pages instead of the mandatory 30 pages life testimony but isn't willing to repent for themselves over having given instructions resulting in the death of one person).

Those people act like an unbeliever who first hears the sentence "He who finds his life shall lose it and he who loses his life for my sake shall find it", and cuts out all except "loses his life for my sake" and considers it as an inacceptible option.

These people understand neither the way of the Cross, nor the way to the Cross.

And this is why they are totally incapable of being Christian "leaders", where are they going to lead people if they don't know the way?

"Blind leaders of the Blind".

I don't know how often I need to repeat this sentence: if the UBFLeadership would actually repent their sins, renounce their unbiblical practices and words and declare that they would be willing to go the way of Jesus properly, I might even come back to help them get on the right track.

But since they're not willing to take the first step, all we can do is to warn others to participate in this deceptive unrepentant organization filled with corrupt leaders who would rather die than confess their sins against the Body of Christ.

In Christ,
Mike K.
