>>Why does UBF only go after university students?
>I think it is because Ee Chang Woo, the originator of UBF and its late leader, indoctrinated everyone to believe that the best "business" is at Universities. They have made it their niche. It makes sense because they go after college freshmen especially. These people are vulnerable because they're immature and in a life transition. UBF preys on these people and transforms them into robots for their own purposes.
That's one reason. Many cults focus on university students for these same reason. The other reason is that these people are young and can be exploited financially and as recruiters. If you have indoctrinate university student, you can hope for a high "return of investment." It would be not so lucrative to care for the needy, handicapped or elderly people.
Even the Mormons, the most "mainstream" of the cults
Maybe they look "mainstream" outwardly, but their doctrine is one of the most aberrant doctrines I ever heared of. I recently studied their teachings, and I was shocked. Actually, they believe that God was once a human being and they can become like God. Their "religion" is actually the biggest sin in itself. Even Buddism and Islam are closer to the truth than Mormonism. It's an absurd, ludicrious sham invented by a charlatan, Joseph Smith. What I don't understand is that so many people followed him and it's still increasing even today, where it is more obvious than ever that it is a sham.
They are only "mainstream" compared with UBF in that they don't practice such intense mind control as UBF does.
