My experience in being an active member of the Great Lakes Region UBF was that UBF was an extremely marginalizing experience. I was taught in bible studies and in Sunday messages that all other Christians were old Christians and that only UBF members were a "new wine skin people". In fact, as the only regular Canadian member of Hamilton UBF over ten years I became extremely isolated and marginalized from any form of healthy and godly Christian community. It has taken me several years to adjust to relating to other people.

Wrong. I do know you. In fact I lived in Toiledo for half a year in 1997-1998. I am quite familiar with most leadership in the Toledo UBf. I am also aware of how I was personally attacked by Paul Hong. I am very much aware of how Paul Hong used my marraige as a political football in his battle with the Kupers. I am very much aware of how unaccountable Paul Hong and the leadership of Toledo UBF really is and how they have hurt and damaged many peoples lives.

Discussion with Toledo has been made in an open forum and there has been no repentance, no change in behaviour. Future UT students must be warned about the real dangers of belonging to an authoritarian mind controlling group like the Toledo UBF. If this forum has helped even one person leave the Toledo UBf, then it has been a success.

May God give you peace and a conscience to see the damage that UBF has done to so many people under the guise of campus mission activity.
