There is a very easy explanation for this. ubf leaders frequently do this as a means of spying on the recruits (this is a hidden agenda of ubf). They want to see who they can push how far. Esp. in the area of arranged marriage, they need to spy on the people from outside Chicago in order to get a better read on them. They also have alot of meetings at night in order to exchange personal information about the sheep. They then try to arrange marriages among people who do not know anything about each other. For instance, Bob from Texas was recently told he was going to marry a stranger lady from Korea, so he should 'pray' for this. Bob's experience is very common in ubf, always has been. When strangers marry there is ususally a disaster which could last a lifetime.

Brian, there is nothing in your statement that has anythign to do with doctrine. Please stick to the topic and do not turn this forum into a ubf recruiting zone.
