A standard huh? Well although I agree with what you say about the rest of it? A standard makes me feel uneasy. How many times in history has the supposed "standard" been wrong. The catholic church, the puritan burning of the witches and so on. I agree that there is a CONSTANT, but a standard is too shifty. What you perceive as a standard may not be the real thing. So instead, Bible study is the whole point, to uncover what the Bible means by YOURSELF, and with a guide. There should be a good conversation to find out what it means, and that's the whole basis of Christianity itself, it separates it from Catholicism, which its doctrine is that the Church has all authority, and the Bible is good, but the word of the church should be more revered. And also that Bible reading should only be done in the presence of a Priest.

So Christianity urges you to spend personal time with the Bible, and so does UBF, oOo. It's true, there is more encouragenment of personal Bible time than much other things. The families themselves can attest to that. These times, the students read the Bible for themselves, but sometimes cannot understand it. As Phillip tried to help the Eunich, who could not understand, that's where UBF steps in, to show them the right way. UBF doesn't try to force doctrine, instead it tries to encourage personal devotion and personal thoughts into the conversation. But often it is hindered by language barriers, which make the conversation um, harder, and the impression of forced doctrine may come.

Quit trying to let UBF hide behind the "nice and sincere" slogan and start asking real questions about what matters.

SUCH ARROGANCE AND IGNORANCE. I detest that most of all...

1st, I have asked the real questions that matter
2nd, I have met many people and travelled far and wide to get them answered
3rd, I have found answers, backed by proof and evidennce, spanning through centuries.
4th, I already have background knowledge of brainwashing, etc.
5th, I have a completely objective look on this situation

Now I ask you to do the same, instead of having a Bias, do not be ignorant, do not be arrogant as to assume some things, you have already judged me, how funny this is. Do not judge!!! :-D
