Please the problem is not that UBF leaders are sinful. All men are sinful. The problem is how that sin is confronted and dealt with. This is the problem in UBF. Leaders' sins are not adequately confronted or dealt with so they get out of hand and cause many to stumble.

Sure things are better now because so many people in UBF confronted the sin through letters and these boards. If not for these, what would it be like?

Also, I have not seen one little act of confession, repentance, or restoration on the part of UBF. They are simply ignoring what has happened in the past. They are not dealing with it. There are many things I liked in UBF. However, I could not let my family be the future victims of forced marriages, beatings, forced abortions, manipulation, or being forced to do anything else contrary to God's will and their consciences. Because of the things I have observed in UBF for the past decades and because I observed how they were being dealt with I felt personally betrayed by the leadership both before God and men. As men of God, the leaders have an obligation before God to do their best to make UBF a safe place and to see that abuse is dealt with. This I have never seen in UBF.
