Subject: UBF leaders admitting they abused and hurt others

Your posting gives me an opportunity to air something I have been thinking about recently. I will get to my point eventually, but I'll give some background first. I was indoctrinated into UBF by the tyrant director of a small "chapter." I can honestly say that I believe everyone in that chapter knew that he was manipulative and abusive. But we repressed the idea because we were trained to believe that he was the ultimate "servant of God."

I was also recently thinking about how much of what my UBF indoctrinator said to me were lies. I think 99% of what he said in all our meetings were either outright lies, deceptive statements, manipulative statements, loaded language, or gossip. (My does he love gossip!) Now, we get to the point. I only remember two times when this UBFKorean spoke with some honesty. They both occurred during the Friday indoctrination meeting and must have been Freudian slips or something. Once, he actually said, "I have hurt many people." I remember thinking, "Wow. I can't believe he admits this." But he never did anything to change. He continued to hurt people in the same ways. Another time he actually said, "I am very good at manipulating people." Again, I was astonished and expected him to change. But he didn't seem to think that he was doing anything wrong because he continued to manipulate people.

So we can't say that UBF leaders haven't admitted that they abused and hurt people. I just gave one example. However, we are still waiting to see ... repentance!!!
