The fact is, she did get married. In fact, she got coerced into her arranged "marriage by faith" like 99% of married UBF members. And she had three children. I don't know what her marriage was like, so I don't know how much it contributed to her continuing mental illness and depression. But I am pretty da*n certain that the cultic abuse she received at the Lees' hands led to her mental breakdown before what was supposed to be her earlier marriage. And I am pretty da*n certain that the environment of Chicago UBF did not help her get better in any way. I know that that environment brought me close to more than one nervous breakdown.

They put a "suicide watch" on my 20-yo brother-in-law and didn't even bother to notify his parents or me or my wife until he was dead. They have no clue, no clue how to support someone who is mentally ill, depressed or suicidal. They have a bunch of M.D.s and a bunch of people who call themselves "pastor" but no one with any sort of professional counseling training. They are so busy doing "work of God" (fishing, going to meetings, writing this and that, preparing for this or that conference) that the mentally ill just fall right through the cracks, right before their eyes.

Some are probably pushing the story that the suicides were inevitable, and that her suffering is now over. That is just so much bull. They are just excusing their failure, their inability and unwillingness to see and support people who needed real help.
