Hi Anon,
Not sure if this answer will suffice, but in the course of spreading the word about ubf, I have had the opportunity to make acquaintance with numerous genuine believers. I am not at liberty to say the name of the person who informed me, but the person is a highly regarded member of a reputable Christian organization, who has direct knowledge about the ubf issue at Wheaton. In other words, somebody gave me some inside information.
The reason for the ban is the information that we assembled and provided, the inquiries we made to Wheaton about ubf. ubf had a contract in hand to use some Wheaton facilities, so Wheaton felt legally bound to honor their contract. Wheaton was not aware how awful ubf is. But guess what, now Wheaton is very aware of the ubf cult.
I suggest that anyone who joins the effort to expose ubf will also get to meet many genuine believers, and it will have a big impact on the ubf cult operation. One time when I went to Harvest, I met a reputable pastor who serves Northern Illinois U in DeKalb. I told him about the ubf, and he said he had a very scant knowledge about ubf on that campus. It was helpful to make him aware that this cult is operating on the campus. As a campus pastor, he will inevitably cross paths with the ubf, it is only a matter of time. The benefit in talking to others is that once we educate a bunch of people, some of them are bound to come across the ubf.
