Yes, his English is limited. And his ability to ask questions at ubf is limited. He cannot ask any really hard questions, such as what happened to all the millions that have been collected the last 40 years. He cannot ask about the Mark Yang sexual abuse case that made half of the people leave his chapter. He cannot ask about all the divorces, abortions, etc.

Why not? Because if he does, there may be severe repercussion to BJ through his family. As long as his family is in the ubf, it will be very hard for him to ask any serious questions. It was not a serious question to ask "possibility of physical relationship". It can be totally dismissed with a single "No." It is not hard to ask an open ended question like "What do you think of those bad things in C-UBF and Korea-past and recent, Bonn?" It can be glossed over in a hundred ways, the usual is something like, 'We are doing God's work but nobody is perfect." It is not hard to ask how Sara Barry's family situation was 60 years ago. Finally, BJK was not there and did not ask his questions anyway.

SB will answer easy, dumbed down questions all day long. A really tough question was something like the 16 questions that were sent to her, but she refused to even acknowledge that anyone sent her questions.

As long as a person remains under the threat of reprisal from ubf, then they are inclined not to ask even one tough question. BJK is no different, except that he discusses his doubts in public somewhat.
