Apropos, does anybody know what happened to the Birds? In 2001, they were still said to be "pioneering" Wales, and John did still defend UBF divorces and other abuse under the name of "Veteran" on this forum. Then, they completely disappeared. A London UBF report 2 years ago says that Wales is now "pioneered" by two other UBF "missionaries" and the Birds are not mentioned at all (very typical for UBF). The report is also another good example for how UBF like to praise and flatter themselves (the writers call themselves "excellent bible teachers" who "work hard to prepare powerful Sunday message" etc. By the way, Miss Barry is called "Mother" of course (as a side mark for those who want to make us believe it is not wide-spread in UBF). Interesting also to note how the number goals after 2000 and the death of Samuel Lee, after is was very apparent that all former number goals had not been met and UBF instead suffered loss and had been a complete failure, suddenly went up by orders of magnitude and the time scale was elongated to a time when all leaders will be dead or have retired so none of them can be held accountable to these number goals. They are so out of the world that a reality check is not possible any more. Very clever.
